Today, our First Nations students, parents and staff came together for our first gathering of the year.
The morning included a welcome from our Principal, Mr Weeks, who spoke with students and families and introduced Ms Murray as the newest member of our First Nations team. Ms Murray will be working alongside Ms Lexi Daniels and Mr Dane Clemments to support our students.
We also enjoyed a delicious morning tea prepared by our Hospitality students, featuring an Indigenous inspired menu. Highlights included scones with strawberry compote and native gum, kangaroo and warrigal greens sausage rolls, and native ginger infused peach tea, with more items also on offer.
Thank you to the parents, carers and students who attended and helped make the event such a positive start to the year. We look forward to coming together again soon.
