Youth Health Nurse

Our school nurse Emma McNaughton can assist with information and support about health and well being, such as:

• Healthy eating and physical activity

• Relationships

• Feeling unhappy or stressed

• Personal and family problems

• Sexual health

• Smoking

• Alcohol and other drugs

• Growth and development

Young people have a right to confidentiality when accessing health services, however there are some matters that they must refer or act upon. In most cases, the young person is encouraged to talk to their parents too.

The Youth Health Nurse’s room is located in P15. You can call in to make an appointment during school hours.

Available on a Thursdays, Fridays and every other Wednesday.
