Jess Dillon

Class of 2012

Jess currently works for the Federal Government for the Department of Industry Science, Energy and Resources as a Grants Manager on the Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program.

During Year 11 and 12 (2011 & 2012) Jess represented Australia at the U17 Woman’s World Cup qualifiers in China.

Nic Brits

Class of 1991

Nic is an affiliate with a greeting card company since 2012.

Previously Nic ran school sport clinics and wrote basketball coaching manuals.

Jenny Haddrell

Deputy Principal at Albany Creek State High School in 1984

From Jenny's leadership foundation which was Albany Creek State High School, she had the opportunity to be a part of amazing educational initiatives such as the Senior College movement in Queensland, The Centre for Leadership Excellence in Education Queensland, and the creation of Oxley Secondary College. Jenny held the positions of Principal of Kenmore State High School, Executive Director of Schools for Murrumba Downs, Regional Director of Schools for Sunshine Coast schools, and finally, Assistant Director General for Education Queensland.

Katrina Kunde (Broad)

Class of 1986

Katrina is currently working in the following areas: Social Work, Landscape Supplies, Teacher Aide, Catering and Nursery.

Leah Dixon (McIntyre)

Class of 1986

After 14 years in Hospitality, Leah moved into Employment Services and now is a State Manager MatchWorks Disability Employment Services.

Sarah Jane Carter (McCrohan)

Class of 2007

Sarah currently lives in Grenoble, France and is a full-time mother. She is slowly creating her own business, designing and making children’s toys by crochet or knitting.

Tracey Harvey

Class of 1986

Tracey was a research scientist for over 30 years and now is a Facilities Manager of a clinical research centre.

Debbie Fisher

Class of 1986

Debbie is a Software Support Analyst, specialising in high end ERP systems.

Renay Greig (Coombes)

Class of 1986

Renay works as a insurance specialist at Heritage Bank. A long, twisting journey with many different occupations.

Nicola Saad (Pitt)

Class of 1986

Nicola worked for several years as the head of Childrens’ Ministry, but has recently moved into a pastoral care role, supporting families in the church and general community. Nicola is currently a school chaplain.

Ryan Matthew Smith

Class of 2003

Ryan is a business owner manufacturing and supplying signage and pinstripe vinyl all over Australia.


Kassandra Cain (Ross)

Class of 1986

Kassandra studied to be an Occupational Therapist. But is currently an Aged Care Assessor.


Sonya Settle (Hoesman)

Teacher 1985 - 1989

Sonya began her teaching career as a Music teacher here at Albany Creek State High School in 1985. She is currently teaching Primary Music at three Catholic schools.


Jed Havukainen

Class of 2015

Jed is a teacher of HPE and Junior Science. Jed previously taught at Pittsworth State High School and now teaches at Albany Creek State High School.

Michelle Reid

Class of 1985

Michelle enjoys working as a volunteer at Craigslea State High School and has been President of the P&C since 2017.

Lachlan Crooke

Class of 2012

Lachlan is currently a student teacher here at Albany Creek State High School.

Glenn Pinkstone

Class of 1995

Glenn is a Financial Controller at Norris Motor Group. He joined the company after graduating from QUT in 1999.

Dewi Jones

Class of 2013

Dewi is a PR/Media and content manager for a professional racing team. Team 18 in the Supercars Championship. He is based at Mount Waverley, Melbourne, Victoria.

Julian Jackson

Class of 2011

Julian is a teacher at Albany Creek State High School. He teaches HPE and is a coach for the Program of Excellence Football program.

Jazmin Newell

Class of 2016

Jazmin was School Captain in 2016. She is currently a post-graduate in Psychology.

Bella Ashford

Class of 2021

Bella began her journey in the hospitality industry working in a cafe progressing to becoming the manager. She is currently working as a cook in Airlie Beach and at the Marina.


Calise Murray

Class of 2017

Calise is a Dance, Geography and HPE teacher here at Albany Creek State High School. She also assists with choreographing and assisting the Program of Excellence - Dance.
