Our Year 11 and 12 Early Childcare Studies students have been busy developing literacy skills with 4-5 year olds through play-based learning during weekly visits to Little Gems Childcare. The children eagerly greet "the BIG Kids" and are reluctant to see them leave. Recently, Albany Hills State School and McDowall State School invited our students to assist at Under 8's Day, where they guided children in arts, crafts, and sports activities. We look forward to visiting Albany Creek State School in August for Under 8's Day and participating in weekly playgroups at Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre.
