Student services and support programs

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Support Officer

    Anita Evans serves as a liaison for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families.

  • Adopt A Cop

    Albany Creek State High School has been assigned a Queensland Police Oficer for the role of Adopt A Cop.

  • Chaplain

    A school's chaplaincy program complements other welfare services in the school such as those offered by the Guidance Officer or Youth Support Coordinator, and is not a counselling service.

  • Defence Transition Mentor

    Melody Bottcher is our Defence Transition Mentor assisting Defence families within our school.

  • Dental Clinic

    The school Dental Clinic is currently available at Albany Creek State High School for Term 3 2018.

  • Guidance Officer

    Mrs Kara MacLennan, and Mr Deryck Anderson are both qualified counsellors and are available to help you with any issue – personal problems, concerns about school, study plans, subject selection, career planning and QTAC applications.

  • Youth Health Nurse

    The school nurse provides a confidential health service for students and parents, with referral to community agencies if required.
