Year 10 Pathways Day – Tuesday, 31 July 2018

Year 10 students have commenced the process of the selections of subjects for their senior (Year 11 and 12) study program.  Our school is committed to ensuring students are provided with support and guidance throughout this process.

Parents and students are welcome to talk to the various outside providers and staff in the curriculum displays area in the Multi-Purpose Centre (MPC) and attend a dedicated information session as per the following times.

4.30pm – 6.00pm: Visit subject and External Provider displays – MPC

6.00pm – 7.00pm: Information regarding the new QCE, ATAR and SETP will be discussed.

Part of the program is also designed to explain the many options our school offers Year 10-12 students, for example School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, Work Experience, TAFE courses and University Links programs.  Students are also given the opportunity to access other Employers, Further Education Providers and Group Training Organisations to promote traineeships and apprenticeships, employment and course opportunities in further education and training options.

As part of the continued enrolment process into Year 11, all parents/carers and students are required to attend a compulsory SET Plan interview which will be held between 6 and 17 August.  Further information regarding the booking of SET Plans will follow.
